Citigroup’s AI Initiative Frees 100,000 Developer Hours Weekly

Citigroup has successfully leveraged artificial intelligence to free up 100,000 hours of weekly capacity for its software developers, CEO Jane Fraser announced.

During an earnings call on Tuesday, Fraser revealed that nearly 180,000 of the bank’s employees across 83 countries now have access to Citi’s internal AI tools, significantly boosting operational efficiency.
