JEE Main paper 2 results out: Two score 100 percentile, both from Kerala

The National Testing Agency (NTA) has declared the much-anticipated JEE Main 2026 Session 1 Paper 2 results, with Kerala emerging as the standout performer on the national stage this year.

In a remarkable academic feat, candidates from the state have secured perfect 100 NTA scores in both BArch and BPlanning, an achievement that has sent ripples across India’s competitive entrance exam landscape.

Candidates who appeared for the January session can now check and download their scorecards from the official website, jeemain.nta.nic.in .

WHO SCORED A PERFECT 100 IN JEE MAIN 2026 PAPER 2?

Suryathejus S secured a perfect 100 NTA score in Paper 2A (BArch), while Gowri Sankar V achieved the same distinction in Paper 2B (BPlanning), underscoring Kerala’s exceptional performance in the architecture and planning streams.

The JEE Main 2026 Paper 2 examination for BArch and BPlanning was conducted on January 29, 2026, in a single shift across 426 centres.

For Paper 2A (BArch), 64,786 candidates registered, of whom 45,452 appeared, recording an attendance rate of 70.16 percent. Meanwhile, Paper 2B (BPlanning) saw 32,366 registrations, with 21,067 candidates appearing, reflecting an attendance of 65.09 percent.

WHO WERE THE FEMALE TOPPERS?

Among female aspirants, Nivandathi Venkatesh from Tamil Nadu secured the highest score in Paper 2A (BArch), achieving an outstanding NTA score of 99.9955998 and emerging as the leading female performer in the architecture stream.

In the BPlanning paper (Paper 2B), Angel M Febin claimed the top position among female candidates with an impressive NTA score of 99.9335454, marking a strong performance in the planning discipline.

WHEN IS THE LAST DATE TO APPLY FOR JEE MAIN 2026 SESSION 2?

Meanwhile, the NTA will close the JEE Main 2026 Session 2 registration process on February 25, 2026.

The April session examinations are slated to take place from April 2 to April 9, 2026, and will be held in two daily shifts, from 9 am to 12 noon and 3 pm to 6 pm. The agency has further informed that a correction window will be made available soon after the registration deadline, allowing applicants to make necessary changes to their forms.

The exceptional performances in Session 1, including perfect and near-perfect scores, highlight the growing competitiveness and high academic standards among BArch and BPlanning aspirants nationwide.

As students prepare for the upcoming April attempt, the focus now shifts to sustained preparation, accuracy, and strategic performance in one of India’s most fiercely contested entrance examinations.
