Jeep Wrangler Willys 41 re-launched in India: What makes it special

Jeep India has reintroduced the Wrangler Willys ’41 edition in the Indian market. The special edition will be limited to 41 units, and the company said the relaunch comes in response to strong customer demand. The Willys ’41 edition was first introduced in May 2025 and was restricted to 30 units at the time. Back then, the entire allocation was sold out within seven days of launch. Interested customers can book this new edition online or by visiting their nearest dealership. Deliveries are expected to begin soon.

The new Willys 41 will be available on the top-spec Rubicon variant at a premium of Rs 2 lakhs, with an optional accessory pack priced at Rs 3.60 lakhs.

The price of this edition has been increased by Rs 49,000. However, the optional accessory package is now more affordable, with its price reduced by Rs 96,000.

It gets a redesigned 1941 hood decal

The Wrangler Willys ’41 special edition is available in a new ‘41 Green paint shade and gets a redesigned 1941 hood decal along with military-themed design elements. Jeep says that this edition draws inspiration from the brand’s wartime heritage while incorporating modern comfort and technology.

The Willys ’41 edition also includes features such as power-operated side steps, all-weather floor mats, grab handles for front and rear occupants, and front and rear digital video recorders. Buyers can also opt for an adventure package that adds a roof carrier with integrated side steps and a Sunrider roof.

The Wrangler Willys ’41 edition is equipped with a 12.3-inch infotainment system running Jeep’s Uconnect 5 OS, along with wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto.

Other features include a semi-digital instrument cluster, automatic climate control, an off-road camera with washer, 12-way powered front seats and automatic headlamps. On the safety front, the SUV comes with electronic stability control, hill start assist, hill descent control, electronic roll mitigation, a tyre pressure monitoring system and rear parking sensors. It also includes an ADAS package with adaptive cruise control featuring stop-and-go, and forward collision warning with emergency braking assist.

Under the hood, the Willys ’41 edition continues with the 2.0-litre four-cylinder turbo-petrol engine producing 270hp and 400Nm. The engine is paired with an eight-speed torque converter automatic transmission and Jeep’s Selec-Trac full-time four-wheel-drive system. It also features a dedicated Rock mode, locking front and rear differentials, an electronically disconnecting front sway bar and a 240-amp alternator.
