Kylie Jenner is all set to make her acting debut. The Kylie Cosmetics founder and reality star has bagged her first major role in a film based on an “original idea” by singer Charli XCX. Taking to her Instagram stories on Thursday, October 9, she confirmed the news that she has joined the cast of A24’s upcoming movie, which is slated for release in 2026.

Kylie reposted Charli’s story, which featured a screenshot of an article by Deadline. The article announced the cast of the film, titled The Moment. Directed by Aidan Zamiri, the film will see Kylie opposite Rachel Sennott and Kate Berlant, among others. The 33-year-old singer and actress would also be seen in the upcoming film.

While the upcoming film marks Kylie’s first major acting role outside of reality TV shows, she is not entirely new to appearing on the big screen. The 28-year-old star previously made a cameo as herself in the 2018 film Ocean’s 8 and, of course, has been a constant presence in the reality TV shows, The Kardashians and Keeping Up with the Kardashians, which revolve around the Kardashian-Jenner family.

On Thursday, she posted a short video, revealing the name of the project, its cast and crew. The Moment, co-written by Aidan Zamiri and Bertie Brandes, is being produced by the Everything is Romantic singer under her Studio365 banner, alongside 2 AM’s David Hinojosa, and executive producers Brandon Creed, Mikey Schwartz-Wright, and Zach Nutman.

The announcement, set to Icona Pop’s 2013 hit I Love It, featuring Charli XCX, revealed an impressive supporting cast. Besides the stars mentioned above, the film will also feature Alexander Skarsgård, Rosanna Arquette, Jamie Demetriou, Arielle Dombasle, Hailey Benton Gates, Trew Mullen, Mel Ottenberg, Richard Perez, Isaac Powell, Rish Shah, Tish Weinstock, Michael Workéyè, Shygirl and A.G. Cook, who will also work on the music of the film.
