Nafisa Ali, veteran Bollywood actress, shows courage amid cancer battle

Veteran actor Nafisa Ali of ‘Junoon’ and ‘Yeh Zindagi ka Safar’ fame, continues to inspire her fans with her relentless and brave fight against cancer. She was diagnosed in 2018 with stage 3 peritoneal and ovarian cancer.

Nafisa recently took to Instagram to share updates from her ongoing treatment. The pictures show her embracing a new look. She is bald from chemotherapy. But still she radiates warmth and positivity.

Wearing a cheerful yellow gingham top paired with brown pants, she smiled at the camera. This captured hearts with her fearless spirit. Alongside the post, she simply wrote: “Positive Power.”

Just a few days earlier, Nafisa had opened up about the side effects of her chemotherapy sessions. She shared a touching post showing a comb full of hair, and wrote, “Here go my chemotherapy locks… Soon, I’ll be bald.”

In addition, giving a heartwarming touch to her story, Nafisa also shared moments with her grandchildren during this difficult time. In a series of photos and videos, her little granddaughters were gently cutting her hair. They were helping her cope with the effects of chemotherapy. She captioned the post, “Finally, my little grandchildren helped me with my hair fall.”

Nafisa was first diagnosed in November 2018. After an initial recovery in 2019, she recently revealed that her cancer had returned. Surgery is not an option at this stage, so she has resumed chemotherapy.
