Cooper Flagg returned after eight-game absence
Cooper Flagg suffered the midfoot injury on February 10 during a game against the Phoenix Suns.
The injury forced him to miss eight games and also kept him out of All-Star activities later that month.
He returned to the court on March 5 against the Orlando Magic. In that game, head coach Jason Kidd limited his playing time to around 20 to 25 minutes. The team gradually increased his minutes once he showed no problems with the foot.
Flagg played 33 minutes in Dallas’ 120–112 win over the Memphis Grizzlies on March 12.
He finished with 13 points, six rebounds, and seven assists in that game. Dallas did not include him on its injury report before the Cleveland matchup.
