The Central Selection Board of Constables (CSBC) has posted the recruitment advertisement of Bihar Police Radio (Technical) Cadres Constable (Operator) in 2026. This drive will fill 993 vacancies, and women candidates will be given special representation in various categories. The applications are to be submitted on the official CSBC site between March 1 and March 31, 2026.
Among the total vacancies, 338 are allocated to the candidates of the female gender, which are divided into categories in an organized manner.
The steps of recruitment will be in three phases. The initial one will be a written test that is objective type with a total of 100 questions and marks of 100 in total that will take a span of two hours.
Any wrong response will be scored against 0. 25 marks. The question paper shall consist of General Knowledge and Current Affairs questions, Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics questions and each will have 25 questions.
Those candidates who pass the written test will proceed to the Physical Efficiency Test (PET) that will be used to measure physical fitness by physical activity e.g. running, high jump, and shot put. At this level, physical requirements will be checked as well, such as the height and chest measurements of the male candidates, and a minimum of 48 kg weight of the female candidates. The last will be the document check phase, where the candidates will be required to provide authentic certificates and other pertinent documents so that they can be authenticated and then selected.
