Rapper Pooh Shiesty and Big30 were arrested for their involvement in the January 10 kidnapping and robbery of fellow rapper, Gucci Mane, in Dallas, Texas. While multiple other people, including the two rappers, were arrested in the case, the arrest of Pooh Shiesty’s father in the case brought a lot of attention to Pooh Shiesty’s family.
The arrests of Pooh Shiesty, Big30 and others were announced by the Texas Attorney General’s Office on Thursday. Meanwhile, the FBI in Memphis confirmed to Action News 5 of Memphis reported citing Memphis FBI that Shiesty’s father, Lontrell Williams Sr, was taken into custody after a raid at their home on Wednesday, April 1.
The FBI allege that Pooh Shiesty and Big30, along with their coconspirators, visited Gucci Mane’s studio in Dallas, Texas. They then held Mane and his associates at gunpoint and forced them to release Shiesty from his contract with Gucci Mane’s record label, 1017 Records.
They also stole money, jewelry, a Rolex watch and other valuable items from the studio.
