Both sides have agreed to maintain regular engagement to further strengthen the bilateral relationship – which hit a low during the 18-month tenure of the Muhammad Yunus-led interim govt.
Delhi’s message was conveyed to foreign minister Khalilur Rahman and state minister for foreign affairs Shama Obaed by Indian high commissioner to Bangladesh Pranay Verma. Talking to reporters, Verma said they look forward to working with Bangladesh in a forward-looking manner.
