Oppo has launched the K15 Pro and K15 Pro+ in China on April 1, marking the debut of its new K15 series. The lineup arrives shortly after the company introduced the K14 in India last month. Alongside the smartphones, the Oppo Watch X3 also made its debut at the same event. The K15 series is equipped with batteries of up to 8,000mAh and will be available in multiple colour options. Oppo is also set to launch the Nord 6 in India on April 7.
Oppo K15 Pro series specs and features
The Oppo K15 Pro+ features a 6.78-inch Full-HD+ display with a 165Hz refresh rate and up to 1,800 nits peak brightness. Meanwhile, the Oppo K15 Pro comes with a slightly smaller 6.59-inch Full-HD+ display, offering a 144Hz refresh rate, and up to 1,200 nits peak brightness.
Under the hood, the Oppo K15 Pro+ is powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 9500s chipset, while the Oppo K15 Pro runs on the MediaTek Dimensity 8500 Super chipset. Both smartphones come with 12GB of LPDDR5x RAM. In terms of storage, the Pro+ offers up to 512GB of UFS 4.1 storage, whereas the Pro model supports up to 512GB of UFS 3.1 storage.
For photography, the K15 Pro series features a dual rear camera setup led by a 50-megapixel primary sensor paired with an 8-megapixel ultra-wide camera. On the front, both devices sport a 16-megapixel camera, supporting video recording at up to 4K 60fps.
The Oppo K15 Pro+ is backed by a massive 8,000mAh battery with support for 100W SuperVOOC fast charging, while the Oppo K15 Pro packs a 7,500mAh battery with 80W fast charging support.
Both handsets run on Android 16-based ColorOS 16 and feature next-generation active cooling systems for improved thermal management. The Oppo K15 Pro+ weighs around 219g, and the K15 Pro weighs about 203g.
Oppo K15 series price and availability
Oppo K15 Pro+ price starts at CNY 3,499 (about Rs. 47,000) and CNY 3,699 (roughly Rs. 50,000) for the “Basic” and “Standard” variants with 12GB RAM and 256GB storage, respectively. Meanwhile, the top-of-the-line 12GB of RAM and 512GB of storage configuration costs CNY 4,199 (around Rs. 57,000).
Meanwhile, the Oppo K15 Pro is starting at CNY 2,999 (around Rs 41,000) for the base variant and going up to CNY 3,199 (approximately Rs 43,000) for the “Standard” version, both featuring the same RAM and storage configuration as the Pro+ model. The top-end variant with 12GB RAM and 512GB storage is priced at CNY 3,499 (roughly Rs 47,000).
The Oppo K15 Pro+ comes in three colourways — Cyber Wings, Origin Grey, and Photodust, while the Oppo K15 Pro is available in four — Cyber Wing, Golden Legend, Origin Grey, and Radiant Dust shades. The smartphones goes on sale in China from April 3 and will be available through the Oppo online store.
