Zomato’s High-Five Challenge: Get a Free Protein Meal

Zomato has launched a nationwide campaign to tackle protein deficiency in India. The food delivery giant’s ‘High-Five Challenge’ offers users a free protein meal upon ordering five protein-rich meals.

Key Details:

  • Offer: Order 5 protein-rich meals, get 1 free.
  • Duration: February 5 to March 5, 2024.
  • Free Meal Value: Matches the lowest-priced meal among the five ordered.
  • Tracking: A dedicated page on the Zomato app/website lets users monitor progress.

CEO’s Announcement & Campaign Goal

Announcing the drive on X, Zomato CEO Deepinder Goyal highlighted the protein gap in Indian diets. “Most Indians don’t get enough protein. So, we are launching the #HighFiveChallenge – order 5 protein-rich meals, get 1 protein meal free,” Goyal wrote.

The campaign directly addresses a recent study indicating around 80% of Indians are protein deficient.

How It Works & Meal Examples

To earn the reward, users must order five qualifying meals from any restaurant on Zomato. The platform has listed examples like chicken tikka, paneer butter masala, and egg curry as protein-rich options eligible for the challenge.

Zomato’s initiative taps into the growing consumer focus on nutritional health, aiming to make protein consumption more accessible and rewarding.
