Vivo X300s key specs leaked ahead of March 30 launch, all you need to know

Vivo is preparing to expand its premium X-series with the launch of the Vivo X300s. The smartphone will debut alongside the Vivo X300 Ultra on March 30. The company has already begun teasing the devices, revealing their design and colour options. The Vivo X300s will succeed the Vivo X200s, which launched last year. Ahead of its debut, a recent leak has revealed key specifications and features of the upcoming device.

Vivo X300s expected specs and features

According to tipster Digital Chat Station on Weibo, the upcoming Vivo X300s is expected to bring notable upgrades across the board. The smartphone is tipped to feature a triple rear camera setup, headlined by a 200MP primary sensor, accompanied by a 50MP periscope telephoto lens and a 50MP ultra-wide shooter. For selfies, it may include a 50MP front-facing camera.

On the hardware front, the device is said to pack a large 7,100mAh battery with support for 90W wired and 40W wireless charging. It could also come equipped with a 3D ultrasonic fingerprint scanner 2.0, a USB 3.2 port, a metal frame, and IP68/IP69 ratings for durability.

Vivo has already confirmed that the X300s will sport a 6.78-inch AMOLED BOE Q10+ display with a 144Hz refresh rate and 1.5K resolution. The handset is also expected to feature dual 1511 symmetric speakers and a 751440 X-axis linear motor for enhanced audio and haptics, while performance duties may be handled by the Dimensity 9500 chipset.

Vivo X300s colours and design

As Vivo has already teased the X300s, we know it is coming in an elegant ‘Film Green’ colourway. Design-wise, the smartphone appears to have a circular island on the back side, housing a triple camera configuration. The branding of Zeiss could be visible on the camera module, which confirms that the camera system is built with Zeiss tuning. The design also shows a dual-tone finish on the back and the Vivo logo stuck in the bottom-left corner. The power and volume buttons are placed on the right side of the smartphone.

While the X300 Ultra is set to launch globally for the first time, the X300s will debut in China. As for its global availability, the company has not shared any details yet.
