Vivo T5 Pro 5G launching soon in India with massive 9,020mAh battery, details here

Vivo is gearing up to launch the Vivo T5 Pro in India, although the company has not yet confirmed a launch date. It has, however, officially teased the device by releasing a dedicated microsite on Flipkart, revealing key specifications and design details. It will be the successor of the Vivo T5 Pro that launched last August. The smartphone will ship in two colour options and will go on sale via Flipkart.

Vivo T5 Pro design, specs and features

The Vivo T5 Pro houses a vertically aligned dual-camera setup placed inside a rectangular module with rounded edges. The cameras are accompanied by an LED flash and an additional circular element. The power button and volume controls are positioned on the left side of the device, while the right side remains clean. At the bottom, the Vivo T5 Pro features a speaker grille, a USB Type-C port, and a SIM tray.

The microsite reveals that the Vivo T5 Pro will pack a massive 9,020mAh battery, marking a significant upgrade over the Vivo T4 Pro’s 6,500mAh unit. It is also expected to support 90W fast charging, retaining the same charging speed despite the larger battery capacity.

The confirmed battery details align with an earlier leak by tipster Yogesh Brar. Additionally, the smartphone is likely to feature a 1.5K AMOLED display with a 144Hz refresh rate, which would be an improvement over the Vivo T4 Pro’s full-HD+ AMOLED panel and 120Hz refresh rate.

The Vivo T5 Pro 5G is said to be powered by Qualcomm’s octa-core Snapdragon 7s Gen 4 chipset. It is expected to run on Android 16-based OriginOS 6. The phone may ship with an IP68+ and IP69+ rating for the dust and water resistance.

The Vivo T5 Pro is expected to be positioned in the mid-range segment. The base variant, featuring 8GB RAM and 128GB storage, is likely to be priced at around Rs 29,999.

For context, its predecessor, the Vivo T4 Pro, featured a 6.77-inch display and was powered by the Snapdragon 7 Gen 4 chipset. On the camera front, the device offered a triple rear setup led by a 50-megapixel primary sensor, while it was backed by a 6,500mAh battery with support for 90W fast charging.
