Samsung has recently launched its latest flagship series, the Samsung Galaxy S26, in India. The Galaxy S26 family includes the Galaxy S26, the Galaxy S26 Plus, and the Galaxy S26 Ultra models. The smartphones were first unveiled globally on February 25 and are now available for purchase in the country through online platforms and Samsung’s official store. All three handsets boast dynamic AMOLED 2X displays and support up to 120Hz of refresh rate. Along with that, it also comes packed with several Galaxy AI features. The Ultra model of the smartphone runs on Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 chip, while the Galaxy S26 and S26 Plus use Samsung’s Exynos 2600 processor. The series is going on sale today, and here are all the details you need to know about it.

Samsung Galaxy S26 series price in India

The Samsung Galaxy S26 series has gone on sale starting today via the company’s official website and offline stores across the country. Customers can also purchase the smartphones through e-commerce platforms such as Amazon, Vijay Sales, and other retail partners.

The Samsung Galaxy S26 Ultra debuted in the Indian market with a price tag of Rs 1,39,999 for the 12GB + 256GB variant. While the 12GB + 512GB model is priced at Rs 1,59,999. The top-end model with the 16GB + 1TB configuration costs Rs 1,89,999 in India.

The standard Samsung Galaxy S26 is priced at Rs 87,999 for the 12GB + 256GB option, while the 12GB + 512GB variant is available for Rs 1,07,999.

Meanwhile, the Samsung Galaxy S26 Plus starts at Rs 1,19,999 for the 12GB + 256GB model, and the 12GB + 512GB version is priced at Rs 1,39,999.

In terms of colour options, the Galaxy S26 and Galaxy S26 Ultra are offered in Cobalt Violet, Black, Sky Blue, and White. However, the Galaxy S26 Plus is available in Cobalt Violet and Black. Other than that, Samsung is also offering Pink Gold and Silver Shadow as exclusive colour variants through its official website.

The Samsung Galaxy S26 features a 6.3-inch full-HD+ Dynamic AMOLED 2X display with a 120Hz refresh rate. On top of that, the company has also installed the Corning Gorilla Armor 2 on the display to keep it protected from scratches.

Under the hood the handset draws its power from Samsung’s 2nm Exynos 2600 chipset. It’s also paired with up to 12GB RAM and up to 512GB of internal storage. Out of the box the smartphone is shipped with One UI 8.5, which is an Android 16-based skin.

In terms of optics the device comes equipped with a 50MP main sensor, a 10MP telephoto camera, and a 12MP ultra-wide lens. It also includes a 12MP selfie shooter.

The Galaxy S26 houses a 4,300mAh battery that supports 25W of wired charging. The handset also supports wireless charging. The device also has an in-display fingerprint sensor.

Under the hood, the Samsung Galaxy S26 Plus runs on the Exynos 2600 processor coupled with up to 12GB of RAM and up to 512GB of internal storage. Furthermore, the device comes with OneUI 8.5, which is based on Android 16 and supports Galaxy AI features.

Along with that, the smartphone houses a larger 6.7-inch Dynamic AMOLED 2X display with full-HD+ resolution and a 120Hz refresh rate. Much like the standard variant, the device comes equipped with Corning Gorilla Armor 2 protection.

The Galaxy S26 Plus is backed by a 4,900mAh battery with support for 45W wired charging and wireless charging. In the camera department, it features a triple-camera setup at the rear end which includes a 50MP main sensor, a 10MP telephoto lens, and a 12MP ultra-wide camera. The smartphone also sports a 12MP front-facing camera.

Unlike the other device, the high-end model boasts a 6.9-inch Dynamic AMOLED 2X display and up to 120Hz of refresh rate. Under the hood, the smartphone draws its power from the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 chipset. It also comes equipped with up to 16GB RAM and up to 1TB of internal storage.

The Samsung Galaxy S26 Ultra is shipped with One UI 8.5, which is a skin based on Android 16. Along with that, the device also includes the Galaxy AI features similar to the other models in the lineup.

For the photography enthusiasts, the Galaxy S26 Ultra has a quad rear camera setup. It includes a 200MP primary sensor, a 50MP periscope telephoto camera, a 50MP ultra-wide lens, and a 10MP telephoto camera. The handset also houses a 12MP front camera for perfect selfies and video calls.

The device is backed by a 5,000mAh battery which supports 60W of wired charging and 25W of wireless charging. Connectivity options include 5G, Wi-Fi 7, Bluetooth 6, GPS, NFC, and a USB Type-C port. The phone also supports in-display fingerprint authentication.
