Samsung is adding new devices to its mid-range lineup in the form of the Galaxy M17 5G in the Indian market. The new phone claims to have some segment-first features, including a camera with OIS support for better shake-free photos.

You get it powered by an Exynos chipset with support for on-device AI features and have One UI 7 version available out of the box. The M16 5G successor has a decent sized battery and an AMOLED display.

Samsung Galaxy M17 5G Price In India

Samsung Galaxy M17 5G is priced in India at Rs 12,499 for the base 4GB + 128GB variant, going up to Rs 13,999 and Rs 15,499 if you want the higher 6GB + 128GB and 8GB + 128GB models, respectively. The new phone will go on sale from October 13 via online platforms and offline stores in the country.

Samsung Galaxy M17 5G Specifications

Samsung’s Galaxy M17 5G sports a 6.7-inch Super AMOLED display with 90Hz refresh rate and it gets Gorilla Glass Victus+ protection. The company is offering the Android 15-based One UI 7 out of the box and promises 6 OS upgrades and 6 years of security updates. You can use AI features like Circle to Search and Gemini Live, along with support for on-device voice mail, voice focus and more.

It features a sleek 7.5mm frame, weighs 192 grams and packs a 5000mAh battery that offers 25W charging speed. The device is powered by Exynos 1330 chipset with 4GB/6GB and 8GB RAM options, and 128GB storage which is further expandable. This is a dual SIM 5G device and you get support for Wi-Fi, NFC and Bluetooth as well.

For imaging, the phone has a triple rear camera system which includes a 50MP main sensor with OIS, a 5MP ultrawide lens, and a 2MP macro sensor. Samsung is also giving IP54 rating for the device which makes it dust and splash resistant.
