There’s also a Starter Pack bundle that includes the game and some extra benefits like more Pokémon storage and an extra battle track. Nintendo Switch 2 players get a free update for better graphics. A mobile version is coming soon. It will let players battle across devices. Ranked matches are for climbing the ladder. Casual matches are more relaxed. The mechanics are mostly the same as past Pokémon titles. Still, Mega Evolutions and some new Abilities add fresh options. Pokémon Champions works with Pokémon HOME. You can bring in certain Pokémon from past games and from Pokémon GO. Not every Pokémon can transfer. Transferred Pokémon can be used in battles on Switch and mobile.
Some Pokémon return from Pokémon Legends: Z-A with Mega Evolutions. Mega Meganium has the Ability Mega Sol, which makes moves act as if harsh sunlight is active. Mega Emboar keeps Mold Breaker, letting moves ignore the opponent’s Ability. Mega Feraligatr introduces Dragonize, changing Normal-type moves to Dragon-type and boosting power by 20%. These abilities reportedly add new layers to strategy.
