Poco C85x 5G launched in India, brings 6300 mAh battery and 32MP camera for Rs 10,999

Poco has launched its latest budget phone, the Poco C85x 5G, in India today at a starting price of Rs 10,999. The C85x is following hot on the heels of the Poco C85 which made its India debut in December last year. The Poco C85x 5G has a large 6,300mAh battery and 32-megapixel rear camera.

Poco C85x specs and features

The Poco C85x 5G comes with a 6.9-inch HD+ display, with a 120Hz refresh rate and up to 810 nits peak brightness. The company claimed it has a triple TV Rheinland and Flicker Free certification.

For photography, the Poco C85x carries a 32-megapixel primary rear sensor paired with a secondary camera. On the front, it houses an 8-megapixel camera inside a waterdrop notch.

The Poco C85x 5G is powered by an octa-core Unisoc T8300 chipset, clocked at up to 2.2GHz, and paired with a Mali-G57 GPU. For memory, it comes with 4GB of LPDDR4X RAM and a choice of 64GB or 128GB of UFS 2.2 internal storage, with support for microSD card expansion of up to 1TB.

The Poco C85x runs Android 16 with Xiaomi HyperOS and features a side-mounted fingerprint sensor and an IP52 rating for dust and water resistance.

On the battery front, the Poco C85x houses a large 6,300mAh battery with support for 15W fast charging and 7.5W reverse wired charging. The company promises up to 80 per cent battery health after 1,000 charging cycles, or over three years of use. The phone weighs 210g.

Poco C85x price, colours and availability

The Poco C85x starts at Rs 10,999 in India for the base 4GB RAM and 64GB storage variant. The top-tier 4GB RAM and 128GB storage configuration is priced at Rs 11,999.

The smartphone goes on sale in India on March 14. It will be available on Flipkart. The new phone comes in three colour options: Black, Gold, and Green.

For context, the Poco C85 features a 6.9-inch HD+ display with a 120Hz refresh rate. It is powered by the MediaTek Helio G81 ultra processor, paired with up to 8GB of RAM and up to 256GB of internal storage. For photography, it sports a 50-megapixel primary rear camera and an 8-megapixel front camera. The phone packs a 6,000mAh battery with 33W charging support.
