Oppo Find X9 Ultra launching soon in India: Expected specs, features and everything else to know

Oppo has announced that its next camera flagship — the Oppo Find X9 Ultra — is set to launch in April. While the company has not revealed the exact date yet, leaks suggest it could debut on April 20. This will mark the brand’s first “Ultra” smartphone, which it plans to make available to global customers, India included.

In its latest teaser, Oppo has also confirmed that the device will feature a circular camera module paired with Hasselblad optics.

Oppo Find X9 Ultra specs and design

Oppo is partnering with Swedish optics maker Hasselblad to deliver an enhanced photography experience. The Oppo Find X9 Ultra will be equipped with a 10x optical zoom telephoto lens, capable of capturing long-distance shots without losing detail. The teaser also confirms that the device will support a teleconverter.

Design-wise, the upcoming Oppo flagship appears to feature a prominent circular “Oreo”-style camera module on the rear, likely housing four sensors. The module looks slightly raised, giving it a bold and symmetrical aesthetic, with a clean, minimal finish around it. The teaser also hints at a refined curvature along the edges, suggesting a premium build and a sleek overall profile.

The Oppo Find X9 Ultra is expected to include a 200-megapixel main sensor, accompanied by a 50-megapixel ultrawide sensor. According to tipster TechHome, the standout feature could be a 50-megapixel periscope telephoto camera offering 10x optical zoom (230mm focal length) with an f/3.5 aperture. The leak further suggests support for up to 20x “optical-quality” zoom (460mm), along with gimbal-level optical image stabilisation (OIS) enhanced by three ultra-precise active calibration systems, aimed at improving stability during long-range shots.

A few days back, Nixanbal’s report suggested that the Oppo Find X9 Ultra could feature a large 6.82-inch LTPO AMOLED display with a resolution of 1,440 x 3,120 pixels. The panel is expected to support a 144Hz refresh rate and deliver peak brightness levels of up to 3,600 nits, along with protection from Oppo’s NanoCrystal Glass.
On the performance side, the device is tipped to be powered by the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 chipset, paired with up to 16GB of RAM and 512GB of internal storage. It is also said to include Oppo’s Trinity Engine for enhanced system optimisation.

In terms of durability, the handset may come with IP66, IP68, and IP69 ratings for dust and water resistance. The design is expected to be relatively slim for its category, measuring between 8.65mm and 9.1mm in thickness, with a weight of around 235g to 236g depending on the variant.

Fueling the device, the Find X9 Ultra is rumoured to pack a 7,000mAh battery, with support for 100W wired fast charging and 50W wireless charging.

According to tipster Yogesh Brar, the Oppo Find X9 Ultra is likely to be unveiled on April 20 across both China and select global markets. The tipster further suggests that sales could begin in the first week of May. While the device is also expected to make its way to India, its local launch is said to be scheduled for a later date, with no official confirmation on the timeline so far.
