Oppo’s Find X9 Ultra and Vivo’s X300 Ultra are some of the most highly anticipated phones of this year because of two reasons. One because they will be the most powerful camera phones from Oppo and Vivo and the other – and this is the bigger piece – is that both these phones are expected to launch outside of China in international markets, India included. Now, before their official unveiling, key hardware specs of the alleged Oppo Find X9 Ultra and Vivo X300 Ultra, have leaked online giving us a rough idea about what to expect, particularly in the camera department.
The fresh leak, which comes courtesy Digital Chat Station, has also revealed the launch timeline of both phones. Rumour has it that the Oppo Find X9 Ultra and Vivo X300 Ultra will launch after the Chinese New Year, which is scheduled from February 17-March 3, 2026. In other words, both phones are expected to launch sometime in March though this information applies only to the Chinese market. Global launch and availability details remain unspecified at this point in time.
Oppo Find X9 Ultra and the Vivo X300 Ultra expected specs
According to Digital Chat Station (via Weibo), both the Oppo Find X9 Ultra and Vivo X300 Ultra will come with at least one 200-megapixel camera sensor though it would sit behind different lenses. While in Oppo’s flagship, it is said to come with a periscope telephoto, Vivo is said to be pairing it with a wide 35mm lens.
The same leak suggests that the Find X9 Ultra will include a second 50-megapixel telephoto offering 10x optical zoom. The X300 Ultra meanwhile will reportedly have a 50-megapixel ultra-wide camera with a 1/1.28-inch sensor and a custom multispectral sensor in the 5-megapixel range.
Both devices, Oppo Find X9 Ultra and Vivo X300 Ultra, are described as camera-centric devices. The leak also mentions that the Vivo X300 Ultra will offer improved video recording capabilities and a focus on what is described as “end-to-end colour science.” This suggests that colour accuracy and image processing enhancements could be among the key selling points for Vivo’s latest flagship.
However, neither company (Vivo or Oppo) has officially confirmed these details yet. Since the information is based on leaks and rumours, we advise readers to take it with a grain of salt.
