Oppo A6s 5G launched in India with 6,500mAh battery and 50MP camera

Oppo has expanded its A-series smartphone range in India with the launch of Oppo A6s 5G. The handset comes with a starting price of Rs 18,999 and boasts of a dual camera setup on the back. Oppo A6s 5G is available in two colour options — Aurora Gold and Plum Purple. As announced by the company, the smartphone is claimed to offer “a durable, long-lasting battery, powerful performance, clear and high-quality imaging, full-scenario smoothness, and a flagship-inspired design — delivering a seamless experience that keeps pace with users’ evolving needs. ”

Oppo A6s 5G price and offers

Coming with a starting price of Rs 18,999 for 4GB+128GB, Oppo A6s 5G will be available from today onwards across Amazon, Flipkart, Oppo Store, and mainline retail stores across the country.

There is another variant with 6GB RAM and 128GB storage model, priced at Rs 20,999.

Aurora Gold and Plum Purple are the two variants of A6s that a buyer can choose from. Oppo has also announced launch offers on Oppo A6s 5G that include:

Oppo A6s 5G features

Oppo A6s 5G features a rear dual-camera system comprising a 50MP high-definition main camera and a 2MP secondary lens. The smartphone is optimised for night photography and portrait bokeh scenarios.

In low-light environments, it enhances image clarity, while in portrait mode, it delivers soft and natural background blur, accurately capturing delicate details.

On the front, there is a 5MP camera for selfies and video calls. Oppo A6s 5G is claimed to deliver 6,500mAh battery, offering up to 882.1 hours of total standby time and 22.4 hours of video playback. Oppo A6s 5G supports 45W SUPERVOOC Flash Charge and is claimed to charge from 1% to 41% in just 30 minutes.

Oppo A6s 5G runs on ColorOS 15, which integrates the innovative Luminous Rendering Engine. Tailor-made for A Series hardware and enhanced with advanced animation technologies, this engine optimises Android’s animation logic at the system level. Even in high-frequency, fast-interaction scenarios, it delivers consistently smooth and fluid animations without lag.

Powering the device is MediaTek Dimensity 6300 Mobile Platform with AI GameBoost, which improves both performance and power efficiency through Oppo’s proprietary scheduling optimisation. The device also features Splash Touch mode, enabling precise control even in the heat of the action.

Oppo A6s 5G measures just 8.61mm thin and weighing approximately 212g.
