OnePlus is preparing to expand its mid-range Nord lineup in India. The company has already confirmed that it will launch the OnePlus Nord 6 on April 7. Recent speculation suggests that the brand is also planning to introduce the OnePlus Nord CE 6 and Nord CE 6 Lite in May. While the OnePlus Nord CE 5 was launched last year, there was no CE5 Lite variant in the lineup. Going by this, the upcoming Nord CE 6 Lite is expected to succeed the OnePlus Nord CE 4 Lite, which debuted in 2024.
OnePlus Nord CE6 Lite expected specs, price and features
The OnePlus Nord CE6 Lite is (via Smartprix) said to feature a 6.7-inch display with a 120Hz refresh rate. The device is likely to be powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 6300 chipset.
For photography, the OnePlus Nord CE 6 Lite may feature a 50-megapixel primary camera, accompanied by a secondary decorative sensor. On the front, it is expected to house a 16-megapixel selfie camera. To fuel the smartphone, a 7,000 mAh battery is said to be packed inside the device.
Rumour suggests a side-mounted fingerprint sensor is also embedded into the power button for security. The Nord CE 6 Lite may come with 6GB of RAM and 128GB of storage in the base variant, which is said to be priced under Rs 23,000 in India. If we expect some additional bank offer, then the price of the device may come down under Rs 20,000.

OnePlus has already started teasing its upcoming Nord series to build anticipation. The OnePlus Nord 6 is believed to be a rebadged version of the OnePlus Turbo 6, which debuted earlier this year in China. It is expected to be powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8s Gen 4 chipset and may feature a 165Hz display — a first in its category.
In terms of additional features, the handset is said to include a dedicated Touch Reflex Chip offering up to 3200Hz touch sampling, a high-precision 6-axis gyroscope, and a Spatial Audio Booster aimed at improving in-game sound. For connectivity, it may come via a G2 Wi-Fi chip alongside 5G performance. The device is also tipped to pack a massive 9000mAh battery with support for 80W fast charging.
The smartphone is expected to arrive in three colour options: Quick Silver, Fresh Mint, and Pitch Black.
