OnePlus Nord Buds 4 Pro first impression

OnePlus Nord Buds lineup has helped the company boost its presence in the audio category. OnePlus is now set to expand its lineup with the launch of OnePlus Nord Buds 4 Pro – successor to last year’s Nord Buds Pro 3. The company will officially launch the earbuds on March 19, revealing its price. We have been using the device for the past few days and here’s our first impression about it

Design and build-wise, OnePlus Nord Buds 4 Pro follows a familiar approach seen in previous Nord Buds models. The earbuds come with a light-weight charging case that is easy to carry around. The case has a matte finish, which helps reduce fingerprints and offers a better grip.

We received the silver colour variant for review. The case supports USB Type-C charging and has an LED indicator at the front to notify when charging or in pairing mode.

The earbuds themselves are lightweight and fit comfortably in the ears. During our initial usage, they stayed in place while walking and during light activity. The stem design makes it easy to adjust the fit, and the in-ear tips provide a snug seal.

OnePlus has also made small refinements in the overall build.

The hinge of the case feels sturdy, and the lid opens and closes smoothly. The earbuds also come with an IP rating, which should help with protection against sweat and light splashes during daily use.

Performance wise, the earbud offers a balanced audio output in our initial use. The sound is clear across vocals and instruments, while the bass is present without overpowering the overall audio. During calls, the earbuds managed to deliver clear voice quality, with minimal disturbance from background noise in indoor conditions.

The earbuds also support active noise cancellation, which worked effectively in reducing constant background sounds like fans and light traffic in our early testing. Connectivity remained stable, and we did not notice any major drop issues during usage.

The battery worked well during our initial use. For more insights, stay tuned for our final review.
