HMD, the makers of Nokia phones in India have launched a unique new hybrid 4G phone called HMD Touch 4G which focuses on the budget segment. The new HMD phone reminds us of the Nokia Asha series from yesteryears that did its best impression of being a mix between feature and smartphone.

You get a large display with a touch-sensitive home button at the bottom and Nokia-like design style with a circular camera module at the back. It doesn’t run on Android but gets support for cloud-based apps that even lets you take video calls.

HMD Touch 4G Price In India

HMD Touch 4G is priced at Rs 3,999 which offers you the single 64MB + 128MB storage variant. The device will start selling soon via online and offline stores in the country.

HMD Touch 4G Features: What’s Hybrid About It?

The new HMD Touch phone carries a 3.2-inch display and yes, it is not an AMOLED panel like smartphones get. It is powered by a basic Unisoc T127 chipset with 64MB RAM and 128MB of storage which is expandable up to 32GB using a microSD card. It is running on the S30+ platform that supports cloud apps for video, social and utility features. You can also play games like Tetris and Sudoku in the HTML5 version.

The phone comes with a 2MP rear camera and 0.3MP VGA sensor for selfies and video calls. You have features like quick call button, emergency key. HMD is also offering video call support via Express Chat app that works with Android and iOS devices as well.

For connectivity, it has 4G, LTE, VoLTE, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 5.0, and comes with a USB C port for charging along with a 3.5mm audio jack. The device gets a 2000mAh battery and it manages to come with IP52 rating for dust and weighs just 100 grams even with a thick body.
