Google Pixel 10a launched: Price in India, specifications and all you need to know

Google Pixel 10a has officially been launched in India. The smartphone is the latest addition to its Pixel 10 series smartphone lineup, and is designed to bring the premium “Google AI” experience to a broader audience without the flagship price tag. Google says that its newest phone is built to deliver durability and biggest battery ever in an A-series device.

Google Pixel 10a price in India, availability

Google Pixel 10a price in India is set at Rs 49,999 – same as the starting price of its predecessor. The smartphone is available for pre-order and will go on sale in India from March 6. It will be available in four colour options: Lavender, Obsidian, Fog and Berry.

Google has announced that the Pixel 10a is part of the Google Pixel Upgrade Program – which is a unique affordability program launched in December 2025 for the Pixel 10 series in India.

This program enables Google Pixel ownership via a zero down payment and zero interest, low monthly installment plan, with the option to upgrade to the newest Pixel phone after 9 EMI payments, regardless of the old phone’s condition.

“This program further strengthens Google’s focus on making Pixel ownership more accessible while offering people confidence and continuity throughout their ownership journey. And through combining powerful AI, long-lasting hardware, and convenient ownership options, it’s the best of Google AI at the same great price,” the company said.

Google Pixel 10a specifications and key AI features

Google says that Pixel 10a is also Google’s toughest A-series phone yet. It features Gorilla Glass 7i and an IP68 rating for water and dust resistance. Design-wise, it offers to a ‘bumpless’ look. The phone uses a 100% recycled aluminum frame and includes recycled cobalt, copper, and gold – a first for the A-series.

The Google Pixel 10a features a 6.3-inch Actua display with a 3,000 nits of peak brightness, which Google says makes it the brightest screen in its segment and easily readable even under the harsh afternoon sun.

Under the hood, the smartphone is powered by Google Tensor G4 chip, which also powers the Pixel 9 and Pixel 9 Pro smartphones.

When it comes to camera, Pixel 10a gets a dual camera system that houses a 48 MP main camera and a 13 MP ultra-wide camera. To keep that screen powered, Google has packed in a 5,100 mAh battery, the biggest ever in an A-series phone. Google claims it can last over 30 hours on a single charge. It also supports 30W wired and 10W wireless charging.

Google Pixel 10a key features

Google is bringing the sophisticated AI tools from its “Pro” models down to the 10a. This includes:

Real-time guidance to help users frame their photos like a pro. An upgraded version of Best Take, this feature automatically picks the best faces for group photos (up to 20 people) and swaps in the best expressions for everyone. The phone is guaranteed to receive OS and security updates for seven years, ensuring it stays current until 2033.
