What is Call of Duty Warzone’s Black Ops Royale Mode

For those unfamiliar, Black Ops Royale is a battle royale mode in Call of Duty: Warzone, inspired by Call of Duty: Black Ops 4’s Blackout mode. In this mode, players can compete against other squads while collecting weapons, equipment and resources across the map until only one team remains. The mode differs from Warzone by removing several core features, including custom loadouts, the Gulag and buy stations.

Apart from this, Activision has confirmed that Call of Duty: Warzone Mobile will have its servers shut down on April 17, 2026.
