An alleged image of the upcoming Apple iPhone 18 Pro has leaked online, hinting at a smaller dynamic display island. Shared by X user called @earlyappleleaks, the alleged image shows a prototype iPhone 18 Pro with a noticeably smaller Dynamic Island. The image shows another iPhone’s flashlight placed over the corner of the display, revealing a small circular punch-hole beneath the screen, which is believed to house a relocated Face ID sensor. The leak adds weight to previous reports about the Cupertino-based company decreasing the size of Dynamic Island on iPhone 18 Pro.
iPhone 18 Pro may see the return of this iconic colour
According to a report by Bloomberg’s Mark Gurman, Apple is experimenting with a deep red colour option for the upcoming iPhone 18 Pro and Pro Max. This move of the company is followed by Cosmic Orange variant on the iPhone 17 Pro. For those unaware, the Cosmic Orange colour of iPhone 17 Pro Max gained a lot of popularity in China, where the customers linked it to Hermès’ signature orange. Gurman notes that red is currently the flagship colour in testing, though Apple may keep orange in the lineup as well.
“Apple is now considering a deep red color for its next lineup.
Given the success of orange, I wouldn’t be surprised if the company keeps that option around and just adds the red as an additional choice. But red and orange might be a little too close on the color wheel to have both,” the Bloomberg report said.

Additionally, the chip will employ “Wafer-Level Multi-Chip Module” (WMCM) packaging, making it more compact, powerful, and energy-efficient than earlier iterations.
Moreover, Apple may switch from third-party chips to its own modem for the first time in the Pro models. This modification should greatly extend battery life, especially when paired with the A20 Pro’s powerful processor.
