Activision to shut down Call of Duty: Warzone Mobile on April 17, 2026: What is means for players and what happens to your unused COD coins

Activision has announced to pull the plug on Call of Duty: Warzone Mobile. As announced by the company, it will shut down servers for Call of Duty: Warzone Mobile on April 17, 2026. This means that the game will no longer be accessible. To recall, the Warzone Mobile was removed from iOS and Android app stores last May because it “did not meet expectations. ” Activision then said that the game’s servers will continue to operate, however no update will be offered, it clarified. The game maker has now announced to shut down the game’s servers as well. Social features and in-app purchases were also discontinued last year.

“Thank you for your dedication and passion for Call of Duty: Warzone Mobile.

As a final step in the previously communicated service changes to Call of Duty: Warzone Mobile, the servers for Call of Duty: Warzone Mobile will go offline on April 17, 2026, after which the game will no longer be available for play,” the company said on a support page. “Until that time, players may continue to access the game and engage with existing content,” it added.

“We are deeply grateful to the community that supported Call of Duty: Warzone Mobile and to the developers who brought the experience to life.

Player passion and feedback continue to shape the future of the Call of Duty franchise, and we look forward to delivering meaningful seasonal content and updates to Call of Duty: Mobile,” the company stated.

Will players still be able to access Call of Duty: Warzone Mobile accounts after the servers are shut down

As stated by the company on its official support page:

  • Guest accounts used to play will no longer be accessible once the Call of Duty: Warzone Mobile servers are shut down on April 17, 2026.

  • Activision accounts will no longer be accessible through Call of Duty: Warzone Mobile but will still be available outside of the game through Activision websites and titles that require an account.

Can a player still purchase COD Points, Battle Pass/BlackCell, or content from the Call of Duty: Warzone Mobile Store

“Purchases that require using real currency are no longer available. The last opportunity to make purchases with real currency was May 19, 2025. If you still have Call of Duty: Warzone Mobile installed, any remaining COD Points can be redeemed in-game towards available content in the Store until April 17, 2026,” Activision said.

What happens to unused COD points

Activision recommends redeeming any unused COD Points in-game towards available content in the Store before April 17, 2026. Once the servers are shut down, any unused COD Points will no longer be accessible. Refunds are not available for previously purchased in-game content or unused COD Points.
