Tiger Woods DUI row takes new turn; Vanessa Trump will not be patient like ex Elin Nordegren

Tiger Woods DUI row: Fresh turmoil surrounding legendary golfer Tiger Woods has reportedly strained his relationship with girlfriend Vanessa Trump. On Wednesday, an insider claimed that she has issued a firm ultimatum after he was arrested on DUI suspicion after a car accident in Florida.

According to a source cited by The US Sun, Vanessa has grown increasingly frustrated with the instability in Woods’ life, particularly after his latest accident in Florida. “Vanessa tries to lift him up, but she also feels like she’s carrying the weight of his ambitions almost alone. When he’s in a bad mood—which happens often—he can be very difficult to be around,” the insider said.

The source added that patience is wearing thin. “She’s told him directly that she’s not Elin or Lindsey Vonn—she won’t be as patient if he doesn’t get his act together quickly. If things don’t change, she’s prepared to walk away in the coming months.

“This is the last chance. She’s given him an ultimatum: either he changes and gets his life under control, or she’s gone for good.

“She’s exhausted, disappointed, and keeps telling him to stop acting like a teenager, grow up, take responsibility, become emotionally stable, and stay out of trouble.”

Tiger Woods crash details

Woods’ recent arrest followed a rollover crash near his home in Jupiter, Florida, where he allegedly lost control of his vehicle. A police report stated he had “bloodshot, glassy” eyes and “unusually dilated pupils,” while officers reportedly found prescription pills marked “M367,” later identified as hydrocodone, in his pocket. Woods is said to have admitted taking “a few” medications.

“Recently—especially after the accident—she’s made it clear she doesn’t want to stay in the relationship if he continues acting recklessly,” the insider claimed.

In a public statement following the incident, Woods acknowledged the gravity of the situation and announced a temporary step back from golf. “I’m committed to taking the time needed to return in a healthier, stronger, and more focused place, both personally and professionally,” Woods said. “I appreciate your understanding and support, and ask for privacy for my family, loved ones and myself at this time.”

Tiger Woods, Vanessa Trump’s relationship strained

The latest controversy has also reignited debate within Woods’ inner circle about his future in the sport. Another source told The US Sun that tensions have surfaced over Vanessa’s approach to his comeback.

“Tiger has been completely obsessed with getting back to the top and becoming the player he once was—back in the spotlight alongside the biggest athletes in the world,” the source said.

“She’s not grounding him or encouraging him to shift focus toward his family and business life,” a source added.

“The pressure weighs heavily on him, and he hasn’t accepted that he may never reach the top again. There is a level of denial.”

The insider suggested that Woods’ refusal to move on from his peak years is compounding the strain. “Most of his friends think he should retire and focus on his health. But he refuses to accept that other players have taken the spotlight,” continued the insider.

“He constantly talks about his golden years and believes he can get back there. Some people stay quiet just to avoid upsetting him.”

At the same time, Vanessa is said to be increasingly concerned about the environment at home. “She’s frustrated with the negative publicity and has told him he can’t bring that energy into the home or around the kids.

“She wants him to be an example—resilient, inspiring, and fully committed to becoming a top golfer again,” he added.
