Former Indian cricketer Jacob Martin is in critical condition following a serious road accident in Vadodara. The 49-year-old was allegedly driving under the influence of alcohol when his car collided with a truck, leading to his arrest by police.

Jacob Martin’s Cricket Career

Martin represented India in 10 One-Day Internationals between 1999 and 2001, scoring 158 runs. He was a member of India’s squad for the in England.

In a distinguished first-class career, he played 140 matches, amassing 9,217 runs at an impressive average of 49.55, which included 26 centuries.
