Detailed Regional Forecast

North India: The IMD forecasts light to moderate rainfall over Punjab, Haryana, Chandigarh, Delhi, and West Uttar Pradesh on January 25. Dense to very dense fog is expected in morning hours over these regions for the next two days. Cold wave to severe cold wave conditions are likely in some pockets over Punjab, Haryana, and Chandigarh during the next 24 hours.

Himalayan Region: Isolated heavy rainfall is very likely over Himachal Pradesh and Uttarakhand.

South India: Light to moderate rainfall is very likely over Tamil Nadu, Puducherry, Karaikal, Kerala, Mahe, and Lakshadweep during the next five days. Isolated heavy rainfall is also predicted over Tamil Nadu, Puducherry, and Karaikal on January 25 and 26.

Northeast India: The weather agency has forecast dense fog in the morning hours over Assam, Meghalaya, Nagaland, Manipur, Mizoram, and Tripura during the next two days.
