Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar has launched the second phase of the Mukhyamantri Mahila Rojgar Yojana (MMRY), a major initiative aimed at empowering women through entrepreneurship and self-employment.

Scheme Details and Implementation

The Mukhyamantri Mahila Rojgar Yojana provides financial aid and training to help women start their own businesses and become self-reliant. The second phase will be implemented in a phased manner, building on the first phase launched in 2022.

Chief Minister Nitish Kumar stated the scheme is a crucial step towards women’s empowerment in Bihar. He emphasized the government’s commitment to creating employment opportunities and urged women to actively participate and become entrepreneurs.
