OPSC OCS Recruitment 2026: 465 govt jobs, online applications close soon; apply here

The Odisha Public Service Commission (OPSC) has published the OPSC OCS Notification 2026, providing an opportunity for 465 highly sought-after Group A and B vacancies. With the last date for application fast approaching—20th February 2026 at 5 pm—candidates are encouraged to apply as soon as possible.

The advertisement (Advt No. 05 of 2025, 26) announces that recruitment for various Group A and B posts will be done through the Odisha Civil Services (OCS) examination. The posts include Odisha Police Service (Junior Branch), Odisha Administrative Service, Odisha Revenue Service, Taxation & Accounts Service, Labour Service, Excise Service, and Tourism Service.

Out of the total number of vacancies, 104 have been earmarked for women candidates to ensure equal representation.

Candidates should be between 21 and 38 years of age and have a graduation degree. The recruitment process is divided into three stages: Preliminary Examination, Mains, and Interview. The candidates who qualify will be offered handsome pay packages; Group A posts will get Rs 56,100/- per month and Group B posts Rs 44,900/- per month.

The total of 465 vacancies is for a wide range of services. Group A vacancies comprise 12 in Odisha Police Service and 14 in Odisha Administrative Service. Group B provides a large number of opportunities in Revenue Service (113), Taxation & Accounts Service (176), and Labour Service (98). There are also opportunities in Co-operative, Skill Development, Excise, Tourism, Welfare, and Transport Services.
