The Goa Board of Secondary and Higher Secondary Education (GBSHSE) has declared the Class 12 (HSSC) Result 2026 today. The announcement was made during a press conference, where officials shared key highlights, including overall pass percentage, stream-wise performance, and other exam statistics.

Students from Science, Arts, Commerce and Vocational streams can now check their results online through the official website, gbshse.in.

A total of 17,283 students appeared in the Goa HSSC examinations.

To check the Goa Board Class 12 Result 2026, students need to enter their seat number, school index number and registration index. In some cases, candidates may also be required to provide their first name as mentioned on the admit card. Entering the correct credentials will help students access their marks without any delay.

GOA BOARD CLASS 12 RESULT 2026: PASS PERCENTAGE RISES TO 92.9%

The Goa Board of Secondary and Higher Secondary Education (GBSHSE) has announced the Class 12 (HSSC) Result 2026 with an overall pass percentage of 92.9%, up from 90.6% in 2025.

Out of 17,283 students who appeared, 16,067 passed, including 7,538 boys and 8,529 girls.

The science stream recorded the highest performance with a 93.9% pass rate. A total of 850 divyang candidates also successfully cleared the examination.

WHERE TO CHECK THE GOA BOARD HSSC RESULT 2026?

Students who appeared for the Goa Class 12 board examination can access their results by visiting the official website gbshse.in. On the homepage, candidates need to click on the Results section and then select Examination Results. After clicking on the HSSC Result 2026 link, students must enter their seat number, school index and registration index to view their marks.

The scorecard will appear on the screen, which can be downloaded and saved for future reference. Due to heavy traffic after the declaration, the website may respond slowly, and students are advised to remain patient while accessing their results.

HOW TO CHECK GOA CLASS 12 RESULT 2026 VIA SMS

Apart from the official website, students can also check their Goa HSSC Result 2026 through SMS. To receive the result on a mobile phone, candidates need to type GOA12 followed by their seat number and send it to 56263, 58888, 5676750 or 54242. Alternatively, students can type GB12 along with their seat number and send it to 54242.

The board will send the subject-wise marks directly to the registered mobile number.

GOA HSSC EXAM 2026: KEY HIGHLIGHTS

The Goa Board conducted the Class 12 theory examinations from February 10 to February 27, 2026, for Arts, Commerce and Science streams. Practical examinations were held earlier, between January 5 and January 19, while vocational stream exams took place from February 11 to February 23.

The Goa Board has announced the HSSC results earlier than last year, when they were declared on March 27. The earlier release this year suggests that the evaluation process was completed on schedule.

WHAT IS NEXT AFTER THE GOA BOARD CLASS 12 RESULTS?

Candidates who are not satisfied with their marks will have the option to apply for re-evaluation or rechecking as per board guidelines. Students who fail in one or more subjects can appear for supplementary examinations.

Meanwhile, those who have qualified should begin applying for undergraduate admissions, entrance exams and scholarship opportunities based on their scores.

The board is expected to release detailed schedules for re-evaluation and supplementary exams soon on the official website.
