CSMC Recruitment 2026: Apply online for 222 JE, Fire and SI vacancies

The Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar Municipal Corporation has announced a major recruitment drive for 2026, inviting online applications for 222 vacancies across multiple departments. Candidates can apply through the official website, chhsambhajinagarmc. org.

Issued under Advertisement No. Municipal Corporation/Astha-1/2026/187, the recruitment offers opportunities in engineering, fire services, sanitation, security and administrative roles. The last date to submit the online application is 18 March 2026.

The vacancies span technical, operational and clerical positions. Here’s a detailed look:

Educational qualifications differ depending on the position. Candidates applying for the Junior Engineer (Civil) post must hold a degree in Civil Engineering, while those seeking the Deputy Fire Station Officer role should possess a relevant fire officer course qualification or a BE (Fire) degree. For the Assistant Security Officer post, applicants must be graduates with at least three years’ experience in the Army, paramilitary forces or police services.

Meanwhile, candidates for the Encroachment Inspector role must have a Diploma in Civil Engineering, and knowledge of the Marathi language is essential.

For the Sanitary Inspector position, applicants must be graduates and hold a Sanitary Inspector Diploma. Those applying for Livestock Supervisor should have passed 12th standard, obtained a Diploma in Animal Husbandry and have a minimum of two years’ experience.

Driver Operator candidates must have passed 10th standard, completed a fire training course, possess a heavy vehicle driving licence and have three years’ experience in the relevant field.

Candidates interested in the Garden or Agricultural Assistant post should hold a BSc degree in Horticulture, Agriculture, Botany or Forestry along with relevant experience. For the Tracer post, applicants must have passed 10th standard and completed ITI in Tracer or Draftsman trade.

Firefighter candidates should have passed 10th standard and completed a fire training course. Meanwhile, applicants for the Cashier post must hold a BCom degree and have Marathi typing speed of 30 w. p. m. and English typing speed of 40 w. p. m. on computer.

As on 31 January 2026, the age limit is generally 18 to 38 years for most posts. The upper age limit is 40 years for Deputy Fire Station Officer and 30 years for Driver Operator and Firefighter posts.

Backward Classes, orphans and deaf candidates receive a five-year relaxation.

The application fee is Rs 1,000 for Open category candidates and Rs 900 for Orphan and Backward Class applicants.
