APSC CCE result 2026 cancelled: Check complete details here

Assam’s top recruitment body has abruptly withdrawn the Combined Competitive Examination (CCE) 2024 result, triggering confusion and anxiety among thousands of aspirants across the state.

The Assam Public Service Commission (APSC), in a short notice issued from Guwahati on February 16, 2026, cancelled the result with immediate effect after detecting what it termed an “inadvertent error” in the notified outcome.

Official letter withdrawn, fresh list to be released soon

The Commission referred to letter No. 460PSC/CON/Exam3712024-2025 dated February 16, 2026, under which the result had been uploaded. That notification now stands invalid.

The official notice stated: “

The Commission has not disclosed the exact nature of the error, leaving candidates in suspense over the implications. The revised results are expected to be released soon on the official website, though a date has not been released yet.

APCET CCE result 2026: Steps to download

Candidates can follow the steps elucidated here to download the APCET CCE result 2026 from the official website once it is released:

  • Move to the official website of APSC: apsc. nic. in

  • On the homepage, locate and click on the tab titled “Written/Screening Test Results”

  • Look for the link related to “Combined Competitive Examination (CCE) 2026 Result”

  • Click on the relevant notification or PDF link

  • The result PDF will open in a new window

  • Use the search function (Ctrl + F) to find your roll number

  • Download and save the PDF for future reference
