Record 6.76 Crore Students Join PM Modi’s Pariksha Pe Charcha 2026

Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s annual Pariksha Pe Charcha (PPC) programme achieved a historic milestone in its 2026 edition, with a record 6.76 crore students, teachers, and parents participating from across India.

Key Highlights

  • Record Participation: Over 6.76 crore registrations, a significant jump from previous years.

Event Details and National Reach

The 2026 Pariksha Pe Charcha was held at the Bharat Mandapam in New Delhi on January 27. Leveraging a strong digital network and state partnerships, the interaction was streamed live to schools and colleges nationwide. This ensured real-time participation for students from remote villages in the Northeast to towns in Rajasthan and Kerala.

PM Modi’s Message to Students

Addressing the massive audience, Prime Minister Modi advised students to see exams as a part of life’s journey, not a life-and-death situation. He stressed consistent effort over result-oriented pressure.

“Exams are not the final goal; they are just a milestone. Your real goal is to keep learning and growing throughout your life,” PM Modi said.

Launch of ‘Exam Warriors – Digital Edition’

During the event, the Prime Minister launched an updated digital version of his popular book, ‘Exam Warriors’. The new edition includes interactive modules and stress-management tools created with educational psychologists.

Government’s Perspective

The Union Education Minister hailed the record turnout as proof of the programme’s impact.

“The record participation of 6.76 crore students in PPC 2026 is a testament to the trust and enthusiasm this programme has generated. It has truly become a national movement for exam stress management and holistic education,” the Minister stated.

Interactive Q&A Session

PM Modi fielded questions selected from lakhs of submissions on the MyGov portal. Students sought his advice on handling competition, managing social media distractions, and balancing board exams with competitive exam preparation.
