Weak detailing in Dhurandhar 2? Fans say they spot editing gaffes in Ranveer film

Ranveer Singh’s Dhurandhar: The Revenge continues its strong box office run, drawing massive audience attention. Amid the growing buzz, eagle-eyed social media users are closely analysing the Aditya Dhar directorial and spotting a few editing slip-ups.

One such moment has gone viral across platforms like X, where a clip from a high-intensity fight sequence has caught viewers’ attention. The scene shows Hamza, played by Ranveer Singh, facing off against his childhood friend in a tense standoff before the confrontation escalates into combat.

However, as the sequence progresses, a noticeable error appears in a close-up shot of Ranveer’s face — a cameraman filming the scene can be clearly seen in the frame. The brief slip has sparked discussions online, with many debating whether it is a genuine mistake or a glitch in the circulating clip.

Some users even questioned the authenticity of the video, while others speculated that the person visible could be cinematographer Vikas Nowlakha.

The viral clip has triggered mixed reactions from viewers, with some pointing out that a gunfire scene appeared to have no sound effects. Meanwhile others remarked that nothing is ever perfect and praised Aditya Dhar’s attention to detail despite the flaw.

Apart from this, viewers have also flagged another inconsistency in a tanker sequence where the year displayed reads 2026 — the current year — instead of aligning with the film’s established timeline.

Continuity concerns have also surfaced regarding the franchise’s storyline. In the first installment, Aalam, played by Gaurav Gera, introduces Rizwan (Mustafa Ahmed) and Hamza Ali Mazari (Ranveer Singh) for the first time at his juice shop, with Rizwan then being part of Arshad Pappu’s gang.

However, in the sequel, the two characters are shown training together before infiltrating Lyari’s gang network, raising questions among fans about why they later behave as strangers in the earlier timeline.

About Dhurandhar: The Revenge

Directed by Aditya Dhar, Dhurandhar: The Revenge is a high-octane spy thriller that follows Indian agent Hamza Ali Mazari as he infiltrates a cross-border terror-criminal network. The film also features Sanjay Dutt, Arjun Rampal, Sara Arjun and Rakesh Bedi in key roles.

Released worldwide on March 19, the film has received a thunderous response at the box office, cementing its position as one of the biggest cinematic successes of the year despite the minor errors highlighted by viewers.
