Ranveer Singh wraps dubbing for ‘Dhurandhar 2’ ahead of March release – Reports

The most anticipated action film ‘Dhurandhar: The Revenge’ is set to hit theatres on March 19, 2026 and excitement is building fast. Just before its grand release, fresh reports suggest that the movie take a crucial milestone in post-production.

Ranveer Singh completes dubbing

According to Sacnilk, Ranveer Singh has finished dubbing for his dialogues, signaling that the film is entering its final stages. Dubbing is one of the last major steps before a movie is locked for release, and his smooth completion indicates that the team is on schedule. Insiders say the actor remained fully involved in refining his performance during this phase. The film will also release in several dubbed South Indian languages like Telugu, Tamil, Kannada and Malayalam, aiming for a wider audience across the country.

Certification reports create confusion

Recent reports about the film receiving a U/A 16+ certificate created buzz online. However, According to India Today report clarified that the certificate currently visible on official records relates to the television version of the first film, not the sequel’s theatrical cut. The second installment has not yet been submitted for certification. Earlier, the original film had undergone edits following objections to certain dialogues, which led to a slightly shorter runtime for television broadcast. Its rating was also modified to meet TV guidelines, allowing it to air on satellite channels soon.

Cast and crew promise a grand sequel

Directed by Aditya Dhar, the film brings back several familiar faces alongside Ranveer Singh. The ensemble includes Arjun Rampal, Sanjay Dutt, R. Madhavan, Sara Arjun, Rakesh Bedi, and Danish Pandor, with Yami Gautam expected to appear in a special role. Shivakumar V. Panicker handles editing, Vikash Nowlakha oversees cinematography, and Shashwat Sachdev composes the music.

The film will clash at the box office with Yash’s ‘Toxic: A Fairy Tale for Grown-ups’, setting the stage for a major showdown.
