Shahid Kapoor’s O’ Romeo remained steady on its first Monday, taking its four-day total to Rs 39.26 crore. The Vishal Bhardwaj directorial opened amid decent buzz and saw growth in numbers on Saturday and Sunday. This marks the actor’s best run since the release of Kabir Singh, which remains his highest-grossing film at the box office so far.
O’ Romeo collected Rs 4.75 crore nett in India on its fourth day, which is higher than what his last two releases earned on their respective fourth days. Both Teri Baaton Mein Aisa Uljha Jiya (2024) and Deva (2025) posted single-digit numbers on their first Mondays. While Teri Baaton Mein Aisa Uljha Jiya earned Rs 3.65 crore, Deva collected Rs 2.75 crore.

O’ Romeo has three more days to perform at the box office before Anubhav Sinha’s Assi and Ravi Udyawar’s Do Deewane Seher Mein hit theatres this weekend.
Interestingly, the film has received mixed reviews, with Shahid’s performance drawing appreciation. It will be interesting to see how far the film goes at the ticket window. The Rs 50 crore benchmark, however, is well within sight.
O’ Romeo also features Nana Patekar, Triptii Dimri, Avinash Tiwary, Vikrant Massey and Tamannaah Bhatia, among others, in important roles.
