Amid the buzz around Dhurandhar 2, rumours of a third instalment have been doing the rounds. However, casting director Mukesh Chhabra has now stepped in to clear the air.
Chhabra, who played a key role in shaping the film’s cast, addressed the speculation in a recent interview.
Mukesh Chhabra dismisses Dhurandhar 3 rumours
Speaking to Zoom, he said, “Aisa kuch nahi hone wala. Bohot sare rumours hai (Nothing of the sort is going to happen. There are a lot of rumours).” He added that if there were any official updates, he would share them on X (formerly Twitter).
Viral end clip, Aditya Dhar’s post fuels speculation
A clip claiming to be an end credit slate for Dhurandhar Part 3: The Mayhem, suggesting a June release, has been widely shared online. Many fans took this as confirmation of the third instalment.
Before the release of Dhurandhar: The Revenge, director Aditya Dhar had asked audiences to stay through the credits. In an Instagram post, he wrote, “Don’t leave your seats until the credits have stopped rolling.” This led to further speculation about a Part 3 announcement hidden in the credits.
However, the end credits do not announce a third film. Instead, they extend the story and leave some plot points open.
While fans await official word on the future of the series, Mukesh Chhabra’s statement firmly puts an end to current rumours about Dhurandhar 3.

A part of India Today’s review for Dhurandhar 2 read, “Dhurandhar: The Revenge expands, sharpens, and builds on its predecessor. What the first film hinted at, this one executes with intent: more violence, more scale, more emotional rupture, and a far deeper obsession with revenge.”
The Dhurandhar franchise, directed by Aditya Dhar, features an ensemble cast including Ranveer Singh, Arjun Rampal, Sanjay Dutt, R. Madhavan and Rakesh Bedi.
The story follows Jaskirat Singh Rangi, also known as Hamza Ali Mazari, an undercover agent infiltrating Pakistan’s criminal underworld. The second film explores his background, motivations and mission.
