About Dharmendra and Hema Malini family

Dharmendra passed away in Mumbai on November 24, 2025, surrounded by his family. Fondly known as the “He-Man” of Bollywood, the legendary actor is survived by his two wives, Prakash Kaur and Hema Malini, and his six children — Sunny, Bobby, Ajeeta, Vijeta, Esha, and Ahana Deol.

Hema Malini on her bond with Prakash Kaur

Hema has always maintained a respectful and graceful outlook when speaking about Prakash Kaur. In her biography ‘Hema Malini: Beyond the Dream Girl’, the actress opened up about her personal life with honesty, saying, “Though I have never spoken about Prakash, I respect her a lot. Even my daughters respect Dharamji’s family. The world wants to know about my life in detail, but that is not for others to know. It’s no one’s business.

” She also addressed the misconceptions surrounding her marriage with Dharmendra, stating, “There are people who think I am weeping at home, pining for my man. I am not a police officer who needs to keep tabs on him. He knows his duty as a father and I have never had to remind him of it. Dharam-ji still treats me like he did in the initial days. ”
