What began as an on-screen spark in Grey’s Anatomy may have quietly turned into a real-life romance. Co-stars Caterina Scorsone and ER Fightmaster are fuelling dating rumours after being seen together in Los Angeles, looking unmistakably close.
The two actors were seen holding hands as they stepped out for lunch on Monday, hinting at a relationship beyond their popular on-screen pairing. For the casual outing, Scorsone kept it laid-back in a green “Oui” T-shirt, a cap and high-rise jeans, while Fightmaster opted for a white button-down shirt, cap and brown trousers.

Earlier this month, the duo also attended the EJAF Oscars 2026 after-party together. While they arrived at the venue as a pair, they chose to pose separately in a video shared by People magazine.

Interestingly, Scorsone and Fightmaster first shared screen space as love interests in Season 19 of Grey’s Anatomy. Back in 2022, Scorsone had opened up about their characters’ evolving relationship in an interview with Extra.
“Any love story can either go up in flames or rise from the ashes,” she had said at the time, confirming Fightmaster’s return to the show and hinting at more developments. Teasing the narrative further, she added that the pair had left their characters in a “sweet, hot space”, even as questions lingered about their future.
She also recalled the dramatic arc of their storyline, from a tense breakup to a last-minute reunion, leaving viewers eager to see what came next. “We pick up about six months later and see where they’re at. I’m sure they’ll continue to find their way through,” she had said.
Off-screen, Scorsone was previously married to musician Rob Giles. The two ended their marriage in 2020 after a decade together and share three children.
While neither actor has officially confirmed the relationship, their recent appearances have certainly set rumour mills running.
