Dhurandhar 2 trailer set for early March launch; Ranveer Singh’s fierce ‘Lyari’s King’ avatar to storm Eid box office

The buzz around Dhurandhar 2 is steadily reaching fever pitch. After the historic box office run of the first installment, the team is now preparing to drop the much-anticipated trailer — and it’s arriving sooner than expected.

According to Pinkvilla, the trailer of the Ranveer Singh-fronted action spectacle will be unveiled in the first week of March, around March 5. The timing is strategic, giving the film a clear runway to build anticipation before its grand Eid release.

‘The scale surpasses the first film in every aspect’

Those close to the sequel insist that the second chapter isn’t merely a continuation — it’s an expansion in every sense. Mounted on a far larger canvas, the film reportedly dives deeper into its characters and conflict.

“The scale of the second part surpasses the first film in every aspect…from action to emotions and world-building. The team has expanded it like never before, and the trailer will give audiences a solid glimpse into the evolved world of Dhurandhar,” revealed an insider.

The trailer is expected to showcase fresh landscapes and unexplored layers of the narrative, hinting at a darker and more intense chapter in the franchise.

Ranveer’s transformation becomes the talking point

While the sequel promises scale and spectacle, insiders say the emotional and visual core of the trailer lies in Ranveer Singh’s transformation.

“Ranveer Singh is undoubtedly the highlight of the trailer. His screen presence and physical transformation as Lyari’s King is being raved about internally. He brings a certain gravitas that will elevate the sequel to another level,” the source added.

The promo has reportedly been cut in a way that amplifies impact without divulging key plot twists — a move designed to retain intrigue while delivering cinematic high points.
