Aditya Dhar’s Dhurandhar: The Revenge is now into its second week at the box office and has already surpassed the lifetime earnings of its predecessor. The film collected Rs 25.30 crore nett in India on its second Monday and grossed Rs 8 crore overseas, taking its 12-day total to a massive Rs 1,392.23 crore worldwide. Now ranked as the fourth highest-grossing Indian film globally, the big question is: can it dethrone Dangal as the top Indian film of all time?
The Ranveer Singh-starrer has already overtaken the likes of Jawan, KGF 2, and RRR globally. Next on the list is Pushpa 2: The Rule, which grossed Rs 1,742.10 crore in its lifetime worldwide run. Beyond that, only Baahubali 2 remains. However, the real challenge lies in what Aamir Khan’s Dangal achieved post its China release – an unmatched Rs 2,070 crore globally.

- Week 1: Rs 674.17 crore

- Saturday: Rs 62.85 crore
- Sunday: Rs 68.10 crore
- Monday: Rs 25.30 crore
- Total: Rs 872.17 crore
In the absence of releases in the Gulf and China, it will be difficult for Dhurandhar: The Revenge to reach that milestone, regardless of its phenomenal overseas performance so far.

Interestingly, the spy thriller has crossed the Rs 1,000 crore mark in India as well, after achieving the same milestone globally within its first week. After 12 days, it stands at Rs 1,042.23 crore domestically – an impressive and record-shattering feat.
Meanwhile, the film’s collections have begun to show a slight dip in the second week. However, it continues to post double-digit numbers on weekdays, which is a strong indicator of its sustained box office run.
Dhurandhar: The Revenge has a clear two-week window at the ticket window, after which it will face competition from Akshay Kumar’s Bhooth Bangla.
Directed, written, and produced by Aditya Dhar, the film stars Ranveer Singh in the lead, alongside Sanjay Dutt, Arjun Rampal, R Madhavan, Rakesh Bedi, Danish Pandor, and Sara Arjun, among others.
