Bodycam footage from the day of Ashley Flynn’s demise shows ‘American Idol’ star Caleb Flynn distraught

The past few days, news of Caleb Flynn’s wife’s passing has been at the forefront. Ashley had earlier been found deceased in her home in Ohio, after which her husband, who formerly featured on the ‘American Idol’, was arrested. Now, as per the latest reports, body camera footage from the day of the incident has been released to the public. This footage has brought new things to light.

Bodycam footage released from the day Ashley Flynn was found

PEOPLE reported that Ohio authorities released bodycam footage of when they arrived on the scene after Caleb Flynn had called the authorities. His wife, Ashley, had been found shot in their home in Tipp City, Ohio. In the video, which was blurred to protect and maintain the privacy of the victim, the ‘American Idol’ alum could be heard screaming “ohmy god” in the background multiple times.

In the footage, he is also heard asking the officers at the scene, “Is she gone?” After a while, the footage also revealed that he had called his mother to inform her about what happened.

He was heard saying, “Ashley’s dead. Mommy, she’s gone. I don’t know what to do” multiple times, and was seen crying uncontrollably as well.

In the footage, it was also revealed that Flynn panicked throughout the event and later even threw up after announcing that he was feeling sick.

About Caleb Flynn’s arrest

Three days after he reported his wife, Ashley’s, passing to the authorities, he was arrested in relation to the case. He has been charged with 2 counts of felonious assault and two counts of tampering with evidence. As per the latest reports, he is awaiting further action and has maintained his not guilty status.

The couple had two daughters, who were in the house at the time of the shooting.
