Bollywood actor Akshay Kumar has shared a new motion poster for his upcoming film Bhooth Bangla, sparking excitement among fans ahead of its scheduled release in April 2026. The film, described as a horror-comedy, shows Akshay in a dramatic pose, sitting on a throne decorated with demonic faces. This visual gives audiences a glimpse of the eerie yet comedic tone the movie aims to deliver.
The motion poster was revealed on social media on Tuesday, accompanied by the caption, “Dus ko denge das-tak, intezar karo tab tak Let the fun begin!”. The post quickly caught the attention of viewers, generating a surge of reactions online as many commented on Kumar’s unique look and the film’s spooky atmosphere.
Bhooth Bangla also marks the return of Kumar to director Priyadarshan’s cinematic world after a fourteen-year gap. The pair have previously worked together on several successful comedy films, including Bhool Bhulaiyaa (2007), Hera Pheri (2000), Khatta Meetha (2010), and Bhagam Bhag (2006), among others. Their reunion has been highly anticipated in the industry as well as by moviegoers.
The production is a collaboration between Ekta Kapoor’s Balaji Motion Pictures and Cape of Good Films, Kumar’s production house. The film features a star-studded cast including Paresh Rawal, Tabu, Rajpal Yadav, Wamiqa Gabbi, and Mithila Palkar.
Bhooth Bangla is set to arrive in cinemas on April 10, 2026 and will later be available on streaming platforms.
