Nissan reports 23% growth in February 2026, deliveries of Gravite begin

Nissan Motor India has reported a consolidated year-on-year growth of 23 per cent in February 2026, with total sales reaching 10,565 units across domestic and export markets.

The company’s domestic wholesales stood at 2,230 units during the month, while exports accounted for 8,335 units, underlining India’s growing role as a key manufacturing and export hub for the Japanese carmaker.

February also marked a significant milestone for Nissan in India with the launch of the all-new Nissan Gravite. Following what the company described as an overwhelming market response and strong booking momentum across regions, customer deliveries of the Gravite commenced nationwide from March 1, 2026.

The start of deliveries signals what Nissan terms as the next phase of its growth journey in India, backed by a product strategy tailored to Indian customers, renewed dealer confidence and a sharper focus on market expansion.

Saurabh Vatsa, Managing Director, Nissan Motor India Pvt. Ltd., said February was an “important and forward-looking month” for the company. He noted that the consolidated performance reflects stable underlying demand and continued strength in exports, reaffirming India’s strategic importance in Nissan’s global operations.

He added that the launch of the Nissan Gravite has generated an encouraging response from customers, dealers and partners, and expressed confidence that deliveries beginning in March would translate into stronger market momentum in the coming months.

Nissan’s February performance highlights its ongoing resurgence in the Indian market, supported by a strengthened product portfolio and expanding network presence. Alongside the newly introduced Gravite, the continued traction of the Nissan Magnite has contributed to sustaining growth across domestic and export segments.

With a renewed focus on enhancing customer experience, widening accessibility and reinforcing its footprint in both domestic and international markets, Nissan appears set to build on its current momentum in the months ahead.
