Energy cleansing rituals for attracting prosperity

In Vedic traditions and Vastu Shastra, energy cleansing rituals are believed to bring prosperity and growth and remove negativity and doshas from life. In fact, it is believed that clearing energy blockages from our home can bring wealth and abundance by inviting Goddess Lakshmi’s blessings for positive energy flow and stability.

Why is a cleansing ritual done?

There’s no denying that cleansing rituals are often done from the entrance of the house; this is because, through purification, the door to wealth is open and as per Vastu, the front door of the house is like the prosperity gateway. This is why it is important to sweep the threshold, clean and then sprinkle some Ganga jal mixed with rock salt. One can also draw a Swastik with rice paste and turmeric and place torans above for protection.

This will help keep the home safe and bring in energy.

The northeast corner

According to the Vastu shastra, the northeast corner of the home is very special, as it is the home to energy. So we must focus on this area and declutter it thoroughly. We can light two ghee diyas with cloves every day. One can also place a Dakshinavarti conch filled with rice and a silver coin to magnetize wealth. This will help attract wealth and abundance in lives.

Vastu Shastra Camphor Use

Kitchen

The kitchen is where we cook food for our family. It is what fuels the family’s fortune. One can purify it by burning bay leaves, cloves and camphor on cow dung cakes and should do this over three days. Let the sacred smoke waft through to dissolve blocks and spark cash flow. This will help bring in money and prosperity.

Clean the house

Another easy way to remove negativity from the house is to clean the house every morning and sweep from north to south. While sweeping, one can chant “Welcome Lakshmi, banish poverty” and mop the house using saltwater. Visualize negativity leaving. This daily practice will help sweep away stress and invite riches into the lives. Energy cleansing rituals like this one are very powerful.

Lit a diya

To energize our wealth corner, one can do this by applying a paste of rice, kumkum and turmeric to form a Swastik in the north or southeast locker area. One can offer coins to a Lakshmi idol. Keep a lit diya nearby to lock in abundance. This will help attract wealth and prosperity into our lives. Energy cleansing rituals are all about attracting prosperity.

Burn spices

Burning spices is another way to cleanse the home. We can light camphor, cinnamon and cloves at our altar or entrance. The purifying fumes will kill bacteria and negative vibes, reducing money woes while boosting inflows. We should repeat this weekly for prosperity. Energy cleansing rituals like this one are very effective.
