NEET MDS 2026 registration to begin soon at natboard.edu.in: Check who can apply online

The National Eligibility-cum-Entrance Test for Master of Dental Surgery (NEET MDS) 2026 registration will begin soon. The exam will be conducted by the National Board of Examinations in Medical Sciences (NBEMS). As per the latest update, the exam is scheduled to be held on May 2, 2026, in computer-based mode. The application form will be released online at the official website, natboard. edu. in.

Candidates who have done BDS and have done their internship within the specified time can come for the application process. The detailed information bulletin will be out shortly. The registration dates, exam pattern, and other essential instructions will be part of it.

Candidates are advised to keep their documents ready and check the official website regularly for updates.

Registration to open soon at NBEMS website

NEET MDS 2026 online registration process will start soon at the NBEMS official website. The applicants have to create their account online and submit the application form within the given time frame. The date of the exam has been scheduled as May 2, 2026, and it will be conducted in a single session.

To be eligible, candidates must hold a Bachelor of Dental Surgery (BDS) degree from a recognised institution.

They must also have permanent or provisional registration issued by the Dental Council of India or a State Dental Council. The compulsory rotatory internship should be completed by the prescribed date mentioned in the information bulletin.

How to apply for NEET MDS 2026

Candidates can follow these steps once the registration link is active:

Step 1: Go to the official website at natboard.edu.in.

Step 2: Choose the NEET MDS 2026 application link.

Step 3: Sign up with basic details including name, email ID and mobile number.

Step 4: Enter the application form after logging in.

Step 5: Upload the photograph, signature and other documents, if any.

Step 6: Make the payment of the application fee through the net, banking/credit/debit card facility.

Step 7: After submission, take a print out of the confirmation page.

Candidates are advised to cross-check the entered details thoroughly before final submission.

Exam pattern and marking scheme

NEET MDS 2026 will be conducted in computer-based mode. The question paper will consist of multiple-choice questions. Each question will have four options, and candidates must select the correct answer.

The exam will cover subjects taught during the BDS course. The paper is expected to include 240 questions. Candidates will be given three hours to complete the test.

For marking, candidates will receive four marks for every correct answer. One mark will be deducted for each incorrect response. No marks will be given for unanswered questions.

Candidates are advised to attempt questions carefully and avoid guesswork due to negative marking. Detailed information about the exam structure will be provided in the official information bulletin.
