Bihar Board to release second selection list for D.El.Ed 2025-27 admission in non-government institutes

The Bihar School Examination Board has issued important information regarding the release of the second selection list for qualified and eligible applicants of the D. El. Ed Joint Entrance Examination, 2025. The list relates to admission for the training session 2025-27 in all non-government institutions recognised by NCTE and affiliated to the Board.

Through Notification No. PR 305/2025, the committee had invited online applications from candidates who passed the D.El.Ed Joint Entrance Examination, 2025, for admission to NCTE-recognised training institutes affiliated to the Board across the state. Based on applications received, institute preferences and departmental provisions, initial seat allocation and admission to government training institutes were conducted as per rules.

Subsequently, the first list for admission to non-government institutions was issued under Notification No. PR 40/2026 and the admission process was commenced. Continuing the process, the committee has now prepared the second selection list for non-government training institutes on the basis of applications, available vacancies and candidate preferences.

The maximum annual fee for the first year of the two-year D.El.Ed course has been fixed at Rs. 60,000. Candidates allotted institutes may secure admission by depositing Rs. 3,000 and may exercise the slide up option for preferred institutes.

The committee has received complaints alleging that certain institutions demanded fees exceeding prescribed limits during the first phase of enrolment.

Heads of non-government institutions have been directed not to charge more than the prescribed fee under any circumstances. Complaints of violations will attract action, for which the institution concerned will be held responsible.
